Wow, thank you for sharing this article. I had no idea whales lived so long. It is infuriating to me to learn the amount of whaling still allowed today though :( Cultural history or not, killing animals whose numbers continue to decrease because of pollution and loss of food (for example the blue whale relies on krill whose numbers can and has in recent years been impacted by humans) is not justified in my opinion.

Yah i read this. Pretty crazy they live that long, i had no idea. It also bothers me that whaling is still allowed regardless of the population of these awesome animals.
