After I had gotten out of the hobby for about 2 years, I was thinking let's do a small freshwater tank for my 4yo. My wife said why not do a small reef tank.
Well I'm sure you know what happened, my head started to spin...
Surprised she even mentioned it because she knows how much money it cost....

So I set it all up. Bought live rock and it had cycled in two weeks. Added clowns.

But I want happy. So I upgraded a month later to a SCA 66 gallon. Tore down the 15 and set it outside...

In the meantime the wife is thinking that would be really nice in the boys bedroom............

Who am I to say no to 2 tanks. So now here we go again..

Now to the actual build... next comment...

this time I decided to take my time with the 15. And do a proper aqua scape, paint the back black. Been working on it all for a few days now. About to get it wet soon. Very soon

Here's some pictures of the tank now.. it's so small and light I figured let's build half the rock out and then put it in and finish it, and carry it into place.

NEED HELP EITH LIGHT OPTIONS...

before I had a ai 16hd. Well now thats on the 66 gallon. I really don't want to spend a ton for a light. Something basic would be fine. If I put any corals in this it would be low light softies and gsp. Any zoas would go right on top. This tank is arpund 24" deep and only 13" wide.

Typing all of this while holding rock together. Adding finishing touches where I think it needs more

Got the tank in my boys room, got it secured to the wall, ( this tank is so narrow it would be easy to tip) and ran a electrical outlet to it. That wall didn't have one and I didn't want to run a extension cord under rug. Plus this is cheaper than buying a extension cord..
