I really want to add more Acans to the sand bed. I'm gonna have to tear the tank down in December though. Don't know if I can sell everything or not but I can try! Moving to Dallas TX and I'm gonna do a 20g Long when I get there. What do you think I should do? Thanks!

I would honestly run a overflow into a sump of some sort. I have seen alot of people try to make a saltwater aquarium work with just a canister filter and fail at it.

Could you recommend a sump for a 15g?

I have never had a sump I have 2 nanos that have the chambers in the back for filtration and I still have algae outbreaks sometimes

This reminds me of the thread where a guy talked everyone has differing opinions about everything. He said other reefers will say not to undergravel or canister cause they cause plaques of locust and stuff. Lol

Honestly, I would vote to keep what you have already and just do a 1 to 1½ gallon weekly water change. I wouldn't use a canister filter on a reef tank.
