150 build stock list. How much filtration is to much?

So I’m curious what y’all think is to much filtration. I currently have a 150 gallon mixed reef for filtration I have:

- 2 large sumps joined together with bulkhead with two socks each
- 2 skimmers both rated for above 150 gallons
- 36 watt turbo twist uv
- small refugium in one sump with a few mangroves and some other macro algae

With my stocking list my nitrates have been a constant zero

Stocking list:
2 snow flake clowns
1 tail spot blenny
1 starry blenny
1 Midas blenny
3 chromis
2 bar gobies
1 randals goby
1 diamond goby
1 high fin goby
2 female lyretail anthias
1 male lyretail anthias
1 sunburst anthias
1 nakos wrasse
1 lubboks wrasse
2 pajama cardinals
1 purple fire fish
1 fire fish

I’ve seen a few people who run two skimmer. Redundancy isn’t a bad idea in a reef tank. Seems like a good setup. I ran a skimmer rated for 150 gallons on my 60 cube and it worked great.

Yea they are both pulling out brown skimate constantly. Seems to be the way to go! Thanks for the reply

No such thing as too much filtration. There is such a thing as too much filtration running.

If you get to that point, you turn stuff off or put it on timers.
