Upgraded from a Mr. Aqua 22 gallon peninsula to a 150 gallon peninsula.

Equipment

Lighting: AquaticLife Hybrid fixture with ATI T5 bulbs & x2 Kessil 360WE

Pump: Sicce Synchra 9000 (1900 GPH)

Heater: x3 Cobalt Neotherm 150W

Protein Skimmer: ReefOctopus 200 INT

Wavemaker: IceCap Gyre 3K

Rock: 50 lbs established Pukani rock; 100 lbs CaribSea shelf rock

Sand: 100 lbs CaribSea Reef Grade Fiji Pink

Livestock

Fish:
  • Emperor angelfish - juvenile (Pomacanthus imperator)
  • Regal angelfish (Pygoplites diacanthus)
  • x2 Picasso clownfish (Amphiprion ocellaris)
  • x7 Royal gramma (Gramma loreto)
  • Yellow assessor (Assessor flavissimus)
  • Yellow coris wrasse (Halichoeres chrysus)
  • Diamond goby (Valenciennea puellaris)

Here's some updated pics, roughly one month after the upgrade. Struggled to find decent base rock anywhere (Reefcleaners and Marco were both out of stock) so that's delayed me posting some pics. The added arches and overhangs have made the angels much less shy which is great since they're definitely my favorites.

The (semi) final aquascape, created with Marco cement. Beefed up my clean-up crew today so excuse the army of snails.

Replaced my bulbs today. For my own record keeping: ABS, ACT, X, X, ACT, ABS.

Haven't updated in a while so figured I'd post some new tank shots. Aquascape was changed a bit, all rock is nicely encrusted with coralline now.

It looks nice! That's a very big update upgrade from 22 to 150g! I'm impressed by the number of snails you bought too haha, 200!
