I’ve had a pair of ocellaris for the last 18 years but I lost my female Saturday. Should I get another one for the surviving male?

Sorry about your loss. Unless you get a very large new clown, I'd expect your Male to become female and the new clown to fill the Male's role. I wonder if the age of the fish would prevent this transition.

I’m still upset about it because she jumped out and I didn’t notice. The tank has been an open top her entire life so it didn’t seem this was possible.

Wow... what a loss... I’m so sorry. Does your male have a nem to live in? I might get him one if not.

Sorry about quad post
I don’t know what happened there
