Looking for stocking suggestions for a 180g (6x2x2) tank

I’m currently building my dream tank and am having trouble figuring out a good fish stocking list. I don’t want to stock it too heavily as I’d like to focus on my corals, but I would like an active tank.

Here’s my stocking list so far:

- Yellow Tang (1) - Already owned, and girlfriend said it’s mandatory to keep.
- Mocha Storm Clownfish (2)

Here’s some I’ve been looking into and/or just generally like:

- Sohal Tang
- Achilles Tang
- Chevron Tang
- Powder Blue Tang
- Gold Rim Tang
- Magnificent Foxface
- Swallowtail Angelfish (male/female pair)
- Bellus Angelfish (male/female pair)
- Dispar Anthias
- Helfrichi Firefish
- Copperband Butterflyfish
- Earmuffs Wrasse
- Lineatus Fairy Wrasse

I'd scratch the Sohal off the list. They can be brutally aggressive and the rest of the inhabitants don't really seem boisterous enough to hold up.

Achilles, Powder Blue and Gold Rim tangs are probably going to be too similar to keep all in the same tank. They can also wind up ruling the tank but one of those with your yellow tang, a Chevron and the foxface should be ok.

Definitely just pick one of the angelfish pairs, as the two will not tolerate each other in the tank.

Otherwise, seems like a good list.

Not all of the fish have made the list. Bottom set is just potentials.
