Hi all.

First ever saltwater aquarium.
I did have a couple freshwater tanks a long time ago... (2) 10 Gallon tanks. Will be used for quarantine...

75 Gallon display tank
30 Gallon custom sump
3 compartments, sock/skimmer drain area, bubble trap into return area with heater and return pump. 3rd area is the refugium.

Big stuff;
48†324W 6 bulb T5 HO with 10 dual blue leds
Bubble magus ES5
Sicce 5.0 return pump
Jebao WP25 and WP10
BRS Reef saver dry live rock – 90 pounds
Red sea coral pro salt
Original grade ocean direct live reef sand 100 pounds


Time for the cycle!!!!

Needless to say, I'll keep y'all updated :D

(Heater will be moving to the sump...)

I'm sad to say my beautiful OSFF has passed on.
:(
Everything/everybody else looks and acts quite healthy and happy.
Water parameters ammonia/nitrite @ zero point zero, ph @ 8.2 and... no3/po4 are elevated... no2 @ 20 and po4 @ 0.16
He did like to get too close to the RBTA and did get stung a few times. and he ate like a pig...
Soooo who knows. we all have losses. I'll keep an eye or 2 on everything for awhile and hope it's all ok.

So this guy decided to move...
i changed the flow hoping he'll move again so not to kill the monti.
i have a power head blowing him away from it...
but 24 hours later he's still there enjoying his massage...........

A few things changed.
LED's now.
Lots more RBTA, taking over... Unless the pipe organ beats it...
Second fox face...
Down to one chromis and pj cardinal.
Had a aiptasia outbreak and the only thing that worked were two filefish.
Then they took out the zoa's..........
And then the frogspawn.........
Yellow tang rescue lived longer than i expected but sadly passed.
Got rid of the green star polyp weed.
i guess that's it for now.

The next HUGE update will be the upgrade to the 210 gallon reef. (coming soon)

Been a while...
Here's an update.
Both clowns passed :( Will get more when we upgrade to the 210.
Pipe organ coral has become the weed of the 75...
Rose bubble tips looking nice and bubbly instead of long tentacly.
Foxface is getting big...
The file fish are keeping the apstasia at bay BUT i did see one nipping at a RBTA. And I'm pretty sure they wiped out the zoas.....
