Nice! I buy all my corals locally so the yearly swap is a huge thing for me. My biggest mistake was convincing my wife she should go too! She wants one of everything she sees, which would be fine if I could convince her that getting that 100,000,000 gallon tank is a good idea!

Frag swaps and just meeting with local hobbyists is my go-to. Great prices and great pieces. I find that my local reefer buddies have some of those rare pieces that you just can’t find any more.

Congratulations on the new pieces! :)

This is SOOOOOOO true!

She wasn't able to go with me this time but when she got home she asked why that's all I got HAHAHA

I loved meeting fellow reefers and seeing what everyone else is doing. SO much great stuff and like you said stuff at great prices that people are proud of and really want to show off and let people enjoy what they have just like them.

I really like this way of supporting fellow reffers and acquiring cool coral!

I get texts all the time of pieces from local reefers. They’re selling them for basically $5 each. I’ll see much smaller pieces from online retailers for 10x that price. I love the ease and cheapness of these. Always support your local guys. Eventually you’ll be paying those same pieces forward.
