Hello everyone I'm a bit late to the party starting my build thread but not by much. This is my first saltwater tank after years and thousands of gallons of keeping freshwater tanks.

I promised my girlfriend I would not get not get into saltwater until I was ready to go all out on a 200G+ system however based on the title of this build I imagine you can tell how well that promise went.....
If you guessed as well as the promise "It will just be a cheap 20G rock only build with a cheap HOB filter and a cheap black box light" you are correct.....

Here I sit 3 weeks into the process with my first 36 Bowfront Reef Tank
Tank - 36G Bowfront
Filtration -The cheap Penguin 100 HOB and the upgraded 207 Fluval canister
Light - AI Prime 16HD
Flow - 2 x JVP-110 (to be replaced)
Heater - Aquaion 100W preset (to be replaced)
Skimmer - (To be order soon) Tunze 9004
Rock - 30lb Live Seeded Rock from LFS
Sand - 40lb Caribbean Arag-Alive Bahamas Oolite

Tank parameters
Ph 8.0
Ammonia 0.25ppm
Nitrites 0.00ppm
Nitrates 10ppm

Stocking
15 medium Turbo Snails
1 Skunk Cleaner Shrimp
2 1.25" Premium Black Snowflake Ocellaris Clowns
1 Xenia

P.S I know the tank is still pretty young to be stocked but it is cycled and I had the make the Ms. Happy after breaking a few promises ;)
