Hey y'all! I have 2 completely unrelated questions that are kinda random, but I did not want to add 2 more threads to be floating around.

1) My rock is currently curing in saltwater at 78 degrees with nitrifying bacteria and a pump. When I go to get the aquarium filled, can I use this water since it is already mixed and has some activity going, or should I just take the rocks out and mix new RODI with salt.

2) I have a situation where I would like to quickly connect/disconnect an RODI line as needed. Basically the line is around 40 feet long and I need to regularly split it in the middle. I have looked for 1/4 quick disconnects but cannot find any. Preferably this would be a connection that doesn't let water drip out when disconnected. Any suggestions?

EDIT: I have a third question lol.

I want to replace part of my black vinyl on my innovative marine AIO, but have been finding mixed reviews on products. Any recommendations for a replacement piece that is matte black and sticks well?

Not exactly clear on the hose question. Are you using the poly tubing and John guest fitting

If so would this be what you are looking for, push to connect union?
