2 pics and questions

Hello...Sorry the pictures are not the best.
The first picture is of my branching hammer coral...It seems to be getting another head or splitting...can anyone confirm what is going on? Should I be worried or is this a good thing? Or is it something completly different?
The second picture I'm wondering if anyone can identify? I had a carnation coral (was a gift and I have a newer tank so it did not survive) The carnation came on the rock and I was going to take the rock out however I noticed 5 of the little orange things attached and am wondering what they are...could they be new carnation corals?

I can't answer the first question, but I am sure someone else can.

I see what appears to be nuisance aiptasia anemone's in the second picture.

Wow...thank-you Mike&Terry...I'm glad I asked so I can remove them before they spread. They look nice but I don't want problems in the future.
