I am upgrading from a 75 to a 125 gallon tank. I currently have a Valentino puffer in the 75 . When I'm upgrading in the next few weeks is it advised to add a second valintino puffer?

what size tank was it?I've had two Valentini Puffers in the same tank before. If the aquascape is busy they should be fine. You need enough things for them to peck on without competing for the same pecking post(s).
I had two in a 54-corner. Total of five fish in there IIRC.what size tank was it?
Got a second valintino puffer. Got the new one In an acclimation box. I'll be watching for any aggression for several hours.I had two in a 54-corner. Total of five fish in there IIRC.
i had to go fallow for 90 days. I had the two valentino puffers together in a 20 long. the catch here was I had one in an acclimation box for 90 days with the other valentino puffer. I just released them back into my dt and so far so good. it's only been an hour since. still no aggression. Plus I rearranged the rock work also so this might have a factor also. Thanks, just got my first one and I'm already thinking of a second. Awesome character.
I dont know much on puffers but most other fish (I say that but isn’t it actually rarer to find hermaphroditism in this side of the fish keeping hobby?) are hermaphrodites but don’t really show any difference between genders unlike wrasses, Copperband butterflies, Genicanthus angels ect…Are they hermaphrodites? That would make a difference.
