I am getting a Waterbox peninsula (47.2"×19.7"×21.7") and looking to place both pumps on 1 side each one on each side of the overflow box.
Tank will be mixed but still lots of SPS.
Due to the placement of the pumps I want to avoid to many dead spots at the other end of the tank.
Would 2 x 6155 be overkill?
If so would the 6095 be a better option?
The 6105 are out of stock everywhere I looked.
Thanks for any suggestions

Its controllable right, I don't think it would be too much you just need to tune it to the right amount for your scape and needs. How many gallons was that peninsula, just checking?

Display only 80 gallons.... total volume with sump 110
Nah it shouldn't be bad, it can be controlled from 1050-3950 gph. Totally fine in my opinion, would love to hear others opinions. Did you already buy the tunzes, how much are they?

Typically on this size tank, I would be between the 6095's and 6105's. The 6095's would be better suited to a mixes reef, 6105's for SPS only. 6105's have not been available since November, 6155's are the same but this pump generally has lower demand so some stock remains. The 6105's should become available again in late April/early May. I think the 6155's would be OK, I prefer the 6105's mainly because you get two propeller housings and can set a wide or focused flow by changing the housing. The 6155 has a much more robust power supply and stronger magnets, but the flow is not all that much more.
