I just set up this 20 gallon long (30”x13”x13”), upgrading from my 10 gallon tank I had before. I currently have about 20 pounds of liferock and a pretty deep sand bed (2”-4”). I have a chalk bass and a tangaroa goby and 3 blue leg hermits that I moved from the 10 gallon. Any suggestions on what I can add? I would like to add more inverts and another small fish or 2.

I would consider a tailspot blenny, Pygmy geometric perchlet,’pink streaked wrasse, azure or springers damsel, a shrimp goby paired with a randals pistol shrimp. The chalk bass may outgrow the 20 and get too aggressive just FYI

Thanks, and yeah I’m cautious with the chalk bass but him and the goby have gotten along fine together. I’ve wanted a pistol shrimp for the goby I just can’t seem to find one at my lfs. The chalk bass is close to full size imo right under 3” probably 2 3/4” so I don’t anticipate him growing much larger
