20 gallon Skimmer question

Hey Everyone, Quick question on getting a protein skimmer. I have a 20 gallon long with 2 clowns and about 10 pounds of live rock. Im looking into getting a protein skimmer that hangs on the back of my tank. I have a circulation pump that does 500 gph and i have a marineland hang over back filter system that is rated for a 50 gallon tank. looking to add a skimmer to the mix. the tank is in the bedroom so quieter the better. and also with it being my first skimmer i am trying to stray away from something that will break the bank incase i decide not to use it. but at the same time i understand you get what you pay for. Any advice tips or tricks of the trade would be great. I love the tank love the fish and am looking to expand into coral soon but figured before i get to far would probably look into getting a skimmer. anyways thanks for the input.

Look into Aquatic life HOB skimmer. It can be noisy at times but ours is place on the Living room Or just keep up with the Water changes on 20g.

yea i change the water about every 2 weeks at 2 and a half gallons.
