So I Have got a pair of clownfish in my tank. In the near future i plan to get A Fire fish, looking at either a fire or and exquisite fire fish. And i also want to get a orange spotted golby. For a bit of a clean up crew id like to get a snail and some shrimp. Does that sound good? Or are there some other fish that I should get or a can get? Also what is the best shrimp to get? I am thnking of a skunk cleaner shrimp.

I would say they should work but wouldn’t recommend getting more then that. Skunk cleaners are nice and get a variety of snails trochus, astrea, nassarius if you have a sand bed

I’ve heard skunk cleaner shrimp are the easiest shrimps to have.. from personal experience they aren’t lol. I’ve had 3 and they’ve all crossed the rainbow bridge. Don’t know why, i’ve been able to keep emerald crabs no problem.
But i definitely recommend more than 1 snail..
A couple nassarius and some turbos would be great

Cleaner shrimp, fighting conch, 4-5 blue leg hermit crabs, trochas snail were my clean up crew in my 20G. Two clowns, lawnmower Blenny, then 1 more, maybe 2 at most is my recommendation (not sure if Blenny and goby are compatible due to small real estate). The tank will become small for the fish when coral grow out (less swim space) . The bio load was not a problem with the above.

That sounds good! I wouldnt add more to that, only other fish you could get away with adding is a clown goby, they stay super small and are very cute! Theres a yellow and green one. And yeah skunk cleaners are awesome! Blood shrimp are also really cool with their color. I would only do one in a 20 though. Also get some reef hermits, they keep the sand clean!

I have both a skunk cleaner shrimp and a blood red cleaner shrimp. The skunk is always out and about where as the blood red is rather reclusive. The skunk cleaner shrimp cleans my hand when I put it in the water. Although the blood red has better coloring, the skunk has a much better personality. If I could only have one in my tank it would be the skunk hands down.
