I was an okay student in high school, I graduated at least. I have my degree and I'm going back to get my paramedic. I prefer college to public education. But even some professors are questionable. It's said "Those who can't, teach." That goes for the idiots, too.
They can. And that might have been their plan, but most have discovered they love the subject so much that they wanted to share it with others.

Yeah I agree. They deserve huge tanks enough for them to not realize there is glass around them. Then again, all of the fish we keep do too. Also, about intelligence, I’d be worried about an octopus getting out and killing em in my sleep just because it could.
But at the same time small spaces make Octopus feel safe, I’ve seen really small octopus kept in small tanks. Look at Coralfish12g’s octobaby

Dont vacuum in freshwater or saltwater. What ur doing is removing bacteria and essential microfauna and good organics from your sand bed if you wanna have a clean sand bed just put a powerhead in your tank
vacuum old food just because you have good bacteria doesn’t mean it’s fine to leave old food there’s balance

I love Coralfish12g's octopus! Definitely an incredible pet to keep that I'd love to try someday.

I used to want an octopus bad and I wanted to name him Aristotle. Just a hundred dollars for like a year of life which is how often they typically last just doesn’t seem worth it to me.
I’d need to get 2 morays with one.
Ursula, flotsam, and jetsam.

Another serious question.... Will hob skimmers be effective, and can you use the other type of skimmers with out a sump??

Trying to get the right one, and I don't have a sump, but I might be able to fit a small sump under the tank inside of the stand.

Also this tank is NOT drilled.

Blastos and scans are both very easy. Don’t need a ton of light and grow pretty quickly. Scans are also awesome to feed. I have about 7 varieties and a blasto in my tank.

I wish I knew, but I’ll repost for you.
