Can anyone give their input on what type of school of Anthias to put on the tank? Around 12 of them is what I'm aiming for.

Based on some conversations with a friend who is a fish expert, the majority of anthias typically kill each other off over time ... could take a couple years. I too wanted a school of anthias, so these were recommended to be more passive anthias and should not kill each other off. Here's a link to some photos that were taken of them sunday. I currently have a school of 8 out and swimming and 2 more still hiding.

I would try Dispar Anthias as you can have 10 females and 1 male. I have about 6 females now and 2 males and with more than 1 male, 1 becomes dominant and actual forces the other to become a female! It's weird i know but also true. They make a good school fish though. Had them now for about 2 years and haven't lost any but 2 did jump into the overflow over the years.

Since it's an Italian tank, it was only right to go with the Italian wavemaker. Plus, since the Koralia's magnet is so thin we can put the Koralia's against the Elos' overflow box.. completely hiding them.

We just got the ballasts for the fixture yesterday (Ice Cap). Tomorrow we should have the bulbs (Reeflux 12k). We also added a lot of fish. I will take a couple pictures of the fish once we get the halides running.

The fish list so far..

Achilles Tang
Blonde Naso
Purple Tang
Yellow Tang
Watanabei Angelfish (Female)
Yellow Candy Hogfish
Swissguard Basslet
Possum Wrasse
Cleaner Wrasse
(8) Bartletts Anthias
(10+) Blue/Green Chromis

Not done yet though.. still needs more fish.

Still haven't got the halide bulbs in yet. We were going to go with Reeflux 12k, but they wouldn't fit the fixture so we're going with Giesemann 14.5k. They should be here in 3 days.
