Mini Tec actually built the stand for you? Or you ordered the Material and built it yourself? I've seen the stuff used to build lighting systems before, but never thought of using it for an actual tank stand. Very nice

Don't forget the lights there buddy :wink: with the starboard it looks much better and is much safer for the glass, I been doing BB tanks since 2003 and love it.

My new build is very similar... except the lights which is why I didn't mention them, BUT they're fantastic! Luuuuv those Photons! :tongue:

Gotcha... my AGE has "built in Starboard" ;)

If I had a glass bottom I'd also throw something down in a heartbeat... especially with a beauty of a tank like that.

Hmmm proly not... I'm generally a SSB guy, but I've ran 'em all in the past so...

I definitely like what you can do with BB, and if set up correctly they're SUPER efficient and one of the best means to run a system (especially a SPS system).

I'm a huge fan of Tropic Edens new 3.5mm substrate... it's super clean out of the bag (still rinse well and leach out nasties), but it stays put even with major flow.
