Flower City fragfest rescheduled to Oct 10th

I am keeping up with as many show/swap cancellations and reschedules as I find out.
For those who are looking to change their dates to the Fall, keep in mind that time of the year is already extremely busy with our events. Many that usually have their events then have not even announced yet.
Many have no choice due to the open dates left with the venues they are using.
Suggestions include
-changing your date to the summer time, some already have....
-having your event on a Sunday!!! It is a day many think are taboo but many swaps only have their events on Sundays with very good crowds.
-moving your date to December, generally a quieter time of the year
-a 'possible elephant in the room' with any date you pick is Rap-Orlando has not announced a new date yet. Most vendors will not miss this event
**-Rap Orlando now ** 9/26-27/20**
**-Rap NY now **12/12-13/20**
-Elephant is out and running......
-Jan/Feb/21 already have their usual events...that may be an option for some. Dates will be out this Fall some time.
In the past dates with 3-7 events during the same day, some have had horrible amount of vendors. There are only so many of us out there. A few can dbl up their presence and be at more than one event.
-Some might opt out to just skip this year altogether and plan for their usual 2021date
-Combining your dates with a club that is fairly nearby could be an option to look at and have one on Saturday with the other on a Sunday. Many have done this by accident over the years....
While this is a lot of work for the vendors, many like it when they go to the bank on Monday following.

For those looking to book their swaps
Venues are booking dates into 2021-2022 and beyond with reserved booking dates.
Many have few dates to pick from in normal years. With Covid19 and just the normal wedding/party/other events being messed up for 2020 dates. Some are reserving their bookings very far ahead and not just for next year. I have heard into 2025+....
