2025 Pumpkin Carving Readiness

Are you ready for some Fall R2R-themed pumpkin carving? I AM TOO!!!

Every year I've waited to the last minute ... and my pumpkins have been short, stubby, not carving quality. Just spotted nice looking pumpkins at the grocery store, and this year I'll have a better background (better pumpkin) for my R2R carving! I am SO EXCITED!!!

Whenever R2R announces the reef pumpkin carving contest, THAT is the *REAL* start to Fall Season!!

That's awesome!! I also do the R2R pumpkin carving contest, but mine are terrible, especially compared to many others. Clearly, I'm playing for the participation award

I've been seeing so many really nice pumpkins in the stores but I don't have a design chosen yet so I've been holding off on getting one yet. I await the call to CARVE.

I'm still in tracing stage, where I take a line drawing of the fish I want to feature, print and tape drawing to the pumpkin. I'm hoping for a participation award when the contest opens. I'm also ready for the cooler Fall weather, since it is still +90 degrees here in Dallas Fort Worth area, with no real temperature breaks in the local weather forecast. At least playing with my pumpkin makes me "feel cool" LOL

Let’s goo I got my pumpkin I just need to figure out what to carve. I saw some of the ones submitted and I know I won’t win, but it will still be fun lol

That's the fun thing about this pumpkin carving - it is Fall themed and unlimited creativity! Underwater has so many possibilities. I'm sure whatever you choose will be GREAT!! and you'll have FUN!!

Here I was thinking I was ahead of the contest, but I'm falling behind! Need to work more on my pumpkin and then get it entered in this years contest.
