So I just scanned the thread. My understanding is that you’re wanting to have

your existing pair of clowns
Existing emerald crab
A Yellow Watchman + shrimp
Green clown goby

imo, this is a great list and you will be very happy. The only thing I can recommend here is a cleaner shrimp (peppermint/fire) if you want one. You have a perching fish, sand crew, open water fish, and bubble algae control. Looks like you’re all set!

Any ideas on substitutes for the yellow watch,an love the watchmen but I like the clown gobies more and this is my first saltwater so I would like as much of like different fish as I can if that makes sense would a royal gramma work maybe ?

If you want to lose the YWG then you’ll have to pair the shrimp with a different goby or lose the shrimp too. Not good to have a shrimp alone. It will coexist well with your clown goby so idk why you’d want to get rid of it, but there are LOTS of ‘prawn gobies’ that you should look at :)

yes they will go well together also there are 3 options for fire fish the flame fire fish the purple fire fish and then there is the helfrichs fire fish.
Do firefish jump as I have a hole at the back of my tank that a fish could definitely jump through

I’d say seal it with a custom mesh top from BRS or Red Sea. If you’re getting them small, 1/8” mesh.
I need the lid to attach the light on though

Just wrap the netting around the light as well, it will seal your light in but it’s easy enough to rip out the staples should you need to give the light maintenance or replace it.
Urm ok my light has suction cups does that still apply ?
