Downsides of meds. Thanks to you guys I'm pushing some weight again. I hate running being forced to run has made me hate it. I enjoyed it before joining the military but now it a struggle .

My sick call clinic was always most busy in PT days while I was in the Army. Tuesday’s and Thursday’s no organized company runs...no sick call back log...
I can run if someone chasing me...although I’d rather turn around and thump them then turn back around and continue my leisurely stroll to the weight room!! No running for me. But I force myself to do the elliptical for some cardio [emoji2961]

I think I saw someone mention using something like MiracleGro. I've seen a number of YouTube videos, from "pros", that have used it and had very good results. Of course, they covered it with another form of substrate. Has anyone here tried that route?

I've seen videos where people recommend Osmocote Plus fertilizer - use tweezers to place a pellet by each plant (or x number of sq inches...)

I have the opposite problem, I have always had a massive appetite. I know I eat considerable amount more then the average person, but I have my whole life. When I was in shape it didn't change either, I just ate more often and healthier stuff. I limited myself to 2000 calories and I had to get creative to get there and stay full. About 6 months into lifting weights I had to up the calorie count on that because I was starving all the time. @sfin52, join in and post your workouts. I don't like cardio either but need to drop some weight and get back in good habits before I start lifting again. When it's all said and done with I will be doing 80% weights and 20% cardio. Not sure how my iphone will show work outs when I switch to weights but I'll figure it out.

This is what I study at the university! You can gain the most size and strength by doing 20-40 sets per muscle group and you MUST get to 80% of your one rep max in order to add gains (once you are past the neuromuscular gains when you first start training)

.02c worth.

I’m going to do chest now !! Hit it hard and consistent!!

I had a pretty consistent schedule, mon, tues, thur, and Friday were weights and wed and sat were cardio. . I’ll get back to it, thanks to this forum pushing. Never thought it would be a reef forum that would get back into shape

Wednesday with my buddy done. This was a tougher one as the first two "out" miles were into 40-45mph headwinds. Luna was freaked out a little about the wind. The two "back" miles were, of course, with the wind. However, those first two took a lot out of me and I'm happy with the result.

It’s up and running. Water got super cloudy but I put a sock in so I’m sure it will be good tomorrow. Fist time I’ve ever set up a tank and not been around to baby sit it for a few hours. I’m not very good at this scaping stuff but I like it.

@crusso1993 i will probably fail you tonight. We are still trying to get ready to go, plus we are leaving at 5am so it will be an early bedtime. But I’ll make you a deal though, I’ll walk Sunday night after we get back. I’ll need to stretch my legs anyways.

Alright folks we are off to Dallas. I’ll try to get some decent pics while I’m there.

You're leaving a little late. Lol

Have a great time!

Looks good! Just be careful of those rocks sunk down into the substrate.....if you plant any type of lawn they will completely disappear :)
