220.6 waterbox build

Hi everyone
This is going to be my first large saltwater tank. I had a 24g cube a couple years back but never anything as big as the waterbox tank i now own. Looking for any advice on setup or care since im fairly new to saltwater. I want to do a mixed reef with mostly sps and some lps.

Yes im still in the process of glueing the rest of the aquascape. For the lights i got three of the nicrew hyperreef gen 2

Otherwise pretty open ended question, I'd probably wander over to some of the build threads for similar tanks to get inspiration on powerheads, filtration, etc, and model your tank after something you like.

Life has been kicking me lately but i have finished the rockwork! Sorry for the glare

Here i have the nicrew hyperreef 200 set up now. Next is the mixing station in the garage

Tank is up and running . Now i just have to dial in the settings for my flow. Just installed two AI orbit 4 gyres

Just a friendly update. I think i have possibly introduced ich into my tank but seems like the purple tang is the only one showing symptoms. In a week i plan to set up a hospital tank and leave the DT fallow for 60 days while i medicate all the fish. Fingers crossed

Ah that sucks getting hit by ich.. best to get proper QT protocol or buy from a vendor that does.. personally I find Marine collectors the gold standard but they are very pricey.

Im very conflicted because its only my purple tang that was added 3 weeks ago that shows white spots every once in a while. All the other fish have nothing wrong the whole time. Would it be that the purple tang is the only aquaculture fish i have?
