New to the salt water game but been keeping fresh water fish since I've been 14 now 38. One point had 32 tanks breeding rare African cichlids now down sized(kids) have 1 big tank with a 18inch mbu puffer and bunch of tetras. I've been throwing around the idea of starting a fish only saltwater tank I've never had one and want to try it.
I have 2 fx6 filters and going to remove the pool filter sand for crushed coral my question is what brand of protein skimmer should look into getting want something easy no sump? Haven't really decided what fish I want but leaning to some tangs, dwarf angels, triggers possibly a puffer. Thanks again for the help and any other advice regarding equipment
