sorry it’s been awhile. Waiting for stuff to get back in stock. Lol. So I decided to go with six 60” ATI T5 blue plus to make sure all of the tank was filled in with light and no dark spots. But after buying the bulbs and going over the cost of bulbs replacement every year. I decided to go with ReefBright strip leds after seeing the videos on BRS. Then went on BRS and seen the price of three 60” and was like oh heck no!! Nothing against brs but to much money for three led strip light. I went in a much different direction. I went back to Steveled.com and built my own strip led lights. I already had a bluefish controller so didn’t need to spend money on that. I ordered three of Steve’s 60” HD heatsinks and leds. Each strip has two separate channels blue and a white channel. 50 mixes of blues and 10 whites. So six total channels for all three led strip light and bluefish controls all six channels separately. So I ordered everything and started the long process. I’m glad I went this direction cause I now have a light that’s way brighter than the 60" Blue XHO LED Strip Light - Reef Brite. All channels run at 700ma and all controllable. I looks for everything before starting and even got 4 pin connectors so it was all plug and play after building the led strip lights to connect to the drivers. I used BJB Electric Starboard Holders cause I used in the past on other tanks and much easier to change a led of anything were to happen unlike soldering all of the leds. Take two screws out and you can change the led out. Cost more upfront but worth the bs desoldering and re-soldering just me. Lol I’ll include pics of leds and heatsinks used and drivers if anyone’s curious. I love the lights and they light up the whole tank just the three strips. I bought a par meter from brs so I’ll be doing texting soon.

All in all the price was close to buying 3 of the reefbrites but there built the way I want and much brighter and controllable so I’m good with it and at the end of the day it’s nice to look at the fruits of my labor. Always like to build things so it’s the way I want and not stuck with someone else’s already made thing.

Here’s the 4 pin cords I used to attached to the LED strip and the led driver together. I cut them in half and wire each side into the led strip and drivers
