So I've been window shopping for a build I'm planning for next summer(wife will shoot me if I buy anything before my stepdaughter's wedding).. The build I have in mind is a 25g Mr Aqua low iron glass cube. Bare bottom. Not drilled, so HOB skimmer and reactor. Looking at trying my hand at SPS on this build. For flow I can't decide what I'll need. The only must on my list is that the powerhead have the cables outside the tank. My first thought is EcoTech MP10, but I don't know what else is out there. Would a gyre be better for this setup(I'd be willing to drop the external cables requirement)?

I think the gyre will be too much at least the mp you can turn way down.

I have a 40 cube with one MP40. Not exactly your setup but I placed my pump on the back right wall and turned it way down. Time will tell when I start adding coral but for the most part everything is the way I like it. I’m running BB so all fish poop is piling up in one corner of the tank.
