Well, I took a jump and broke down my 120 to start up a lawn service and found a great deal on this tank about a hour drive away. I’ve always been better with smaller tanks for some reason. Plan for this tank is going to be mostly a zoa garden with a acan garden. Most of the coral and fish will come out of my 120.
Lighting for the tank is still up in the air. I’m not quite sure what I want to use right now. I’ve got a few options in the air friend is letting me borrow a noname 4 bulb t5 for now. But thinking either reef breeder older model with 2 sunblaster t5,
AI hydra 26hd, or find a 4 bulb t5 fixture.

Well, added quite a bit yesterday as hopefully I’ve got a buyer for all the rock in the tank today. I’ll have to add some pics when I get home today. Going to get a speckled krak today after work. Went ahead and added.

Not sure adding so much sps And the bounce was a good move so early on but hopefully you can pull it off. Be prepared for parameter swings though

Well, had a guy come over and buy all my live rock from the 120 so there’s just a few pieces of GSP Ironman shrooms and few zoas left. Which means. Everything else had to get moved into the lagoon so here’s a few new pics of the tank. Start with some sps.

No clue why but most of my zoas are looking pretty rough. Most are all closed and don’t really open to much. Thinking I’m going to take them all out and scrap the algae off and possibly dip them in some revive and see if that helps any.

When i rescaped my tank my zoanthids closed up for a week or so but they are now fully recovered with no dipping etc. if there is algae on them though I would reccomend dipping and removing the algae

Well, tank is running pretty good. Haven’t done a water change yet. Probably going to get a box of salt today thinking of just using instant ocean purple box. Also have to swing by the lfs and pick up the new light I’m buying. Can’t wait to see how it does. I know I’ll miss the t5 but think this will do just fine. Updated the live stock. The momma clown ended up chasing the male around the tank to much and he went carpet surfing. My 2 flamethrower chalices were receding so a buddy who has basically all my expensive chalices is baby sitting them for me. Going to look for a doser and some new test kits so I can get ahold of parameters a lil better.

Thanks man. You need/want about 15 Ironman shrooms? Most of them are floating around in a basket.

Depends on $, not trying to spend a whole lot outside my new sps tank, added 18 frags yesterday, lol. Using halide power, need 36" actinics, if you come across any. Give me a call soon, we can catch up :)

Be down for trading. Or pretty cheap. Lol Basically last thing in my frag tank that needs to go. Lol
What did you end up buying? 18 frags seems like quite a bit. Lol
Dang man. Wish you needed 48” I’ve got 4 of these sunblaster fixture that work pretty well I’m letting go for $25. I’ll give ya a call when I’m on my way home from work.

Well, thanks again to @Perry for hooking me up with some great zoas and shroom. Everything looked good except the ultra rfa but hopefully it’ll pull thru. Not to worried about it. Have a few quick pics from the stuff I got. Need to add all the zoas to the live stock list but there was quite a few and hopefully I’ll be able to trade some of the doubles for other things.

Thanks buddy, great seeing you, yeah the RFA has been showing it's mouth for awhile, but still feeds and with a little TLC, should be fine. You should also find a yellow blue yuma in there, I saw it before it made the bucket of corals yesterday. Glad everything opened up so far, keep an eye out, there is definitely a few cool ones in there, lol. That red shroom though, I have dibs on the baby!!!

Man I almost left that rock out too. I had no clue where to put it. I’ll have to say this 25g is almost packed. Lol wish I had a 10g waterbox to put everything I got from you into. Lol I did find my gem piece yesterday tho. A pretty sweet green apple scoly.

Well, think I found a light schedule I like. It’s the schedule reef2reef did with the AI hydra 26HD copying the Radion sps AB+. I think it’s safe to say I’m keeping this one.
