Just started a leak test as the tank arrived on Wednesday. Estimating I should be adding substrate and rock work by Tuesday this coming week.

- Tank: Custom LifeReef Nano
- Skimmer: LifeReef SVS24
- Lighting: Radion XR30w Pro

Thank you, I don't know why Ecotech doesn't provide something similar. I started messing around with the new Radion fixture and am already blown away with the programming capabilities. From and ease of use standpoint LED's are light years ahead of MH's. I have yet to see how they will perform in the coloration and growth of stony corals.

The black return pipes in the tank did they come with the tank itself or can you buy those. I would like to put one on my biocube

Hey Jkef2010, I bought the black return pipes through Marine Depot. They come in different diameters so I am sure you can find ones that suit your tank. There are also various nozzles you can choose from depending on the output pattern you are looking for.

The acrylic light mount looks great! We're looking forward to following your progress and Good Luck with the contest!

Cool tank!

First life.....sorta :-) Added a very nice piece of live rock covered in coralline algae. I also couldn't help myself and grabbed a Vortech MP10w. It is already working nicely communicating with the Radion fixture.

First Fish (Pygmy Angel) - $25 ($500-$25 = $475 remain)

For this smaller aquarium I have decided to conduct daily 1 gallon water changes, or play catch up if I miss a day. The skimmer is running off a MD 9.5 and the circulation pump is a MD 5. They are producing quite a bit of heat so the tank is running warm but consistent between 80.5 and 81.5 F. PH is also staying within a steady range of 8.21 to 8.28.
