Hey just wondering if you guys had a 28x28x28 cube tank, and want to keep mainly Sps/chalices what lighting would you go with, and what kind of bulbs. I have a outter orbit 250w DE with 4x24w T5 combo. Im running a XM 15k 250w DE and stock actinic bulbs.

Thanks for any input

I would run the setup you have only change out the bulb. The15k xms have horrible par.

Run the 20K if you like it blue or the 10K for maximum growth.

Or you could go with the phoenix 14k. From what I have heard the de 250 is really nice but I have no experience with it.

not here. but do a google search for it reviews of it.

I am going to use 400w reeflux 20K on my 118 because I wanted to do away with supplemental lighting. I found some pictures and measurements and really like it.

If I were to go with supplemental t5 I would probably go back with xm 10K.

If your gonna have a bunch of chalices I really recommend you go with the Phoenix bulb or a 20K bulb. It will showcase them much better. The 10k will not do it.

Yeah the aquaspecial T5s put out a decent amount of par. U could do phoenix 14k with 2 aquascience 22ks and 2 aquablue specials. I think that would be a good look with decent growth.
