Hi all
pretty lame day I was excited yesterday arrived my second vortec m40 from BRS and I tested it out before really securing any wiring and it didn’t want to work right wouldn’t spin the propeller barely and kind of making a clanking noise in the dry motor side.
this first one I got is great with the mobius app really a game changer for flow, keeping stuff moving in the column etc loved it. Anyway BRS told me to send it back and they’ll swap it out. Just a drag on time though waiting, just mounted another Zoa colony and mushrooms from Indonesia too.
these things are pricey so I wonder has anyone else rum into issues with defects on vortechs?

Never had any issues with mine but if the magnets are off even slightly they will not work properly.

Simplify and return it but also assure there is not a sticker on dry side that sometimes come with" before you use" instructions.
