3/4 Bulk heads work ?

Will 3/4 Bulk heads work as good as 1 inch only reason is i found 3 of the slip type and 2 of the "Barrbed". They were in my basement in a box of spare parts. So what do ya think ?

What size are the drilled holes in the tank if its already drilled?
3/4" will not have the flow a 1" would but for a small or nano system it really doesn't matter.
Make sure the rubber gaskets are in good shape if you plan on using a bulkhead that has been sitting around for awhile.

Tanks aren't drilled. This is for breeding and grow out only.
