So I just got an Octopulse 4 (4500 gph) and I’m running it at one end of my 60x20x18 mixed reef with a center overflow . This thing moves some water !! My returns are lock line so they can be flexible , I currently have 3 ( all are split - one at each end and one in the centeroverflow. As of now they all are angled towards the front panel) My question is where should I put the 2 Sicce voyagers I still have ? They push about 1600 gph and I have them on a controller.
My thoughts were:
#1 placing them on the opposite side of the octopulse to counter it.
#2 placing them on opposite ends of the tank and against the back panel, pulsing against each other and hitting the overflow box to cause more chaotic flow.
#3 placing them on the back panel corners and have them pulse against the front .
Any opinions / suggestions ?

If sand bottom then I like the voyagers on opposing sides staggered a little.

If barebottom. I like one opposing and one in the bottom corner blowing along the back of the tank to clear detritus.

Zones of different flow, especially for the Frogspawn. In nature it is usually found in lagoons where the flow is slower and more gentle. But it does seem to enjoy the tidal flows a bit. Just keep an eye on it for being closed up or other damage.
