@NHreefguy this really cool that your keeping this crab. I always never payed a whole lot of attention to my inverts until I recently did a fallow period and then a really realized how interesting they are.

I wonder what a stone crabs lifespan is?
Thanks. I enjoy this guy because he is so interactive. I can't walk past his tank without him running out to attack! Haha. I read online they can live for 7-8 years. Who knows in captivity

Lol that's is awesome, 7-8 years that's as long as some fish!

I need some more rock, but here's both viewable sides! Sad to say, I can all ready see a reef in it.

I got a 50lb shippment of dry rock yesterday. The crab tank now has better rock than my reef.

Well it happened. I wanted the square tank for a reef because it looked so good, so I set a 30 up yesterday for the crab. Now two cycling tanks!
