I have a 30 gallon setup with 2 clown fish and on gobie and a few corals into.

Ya I have been told that. My only problem is I really don't want to have a accidental recycle happen with my aquarium from adding live rock or sand.

You won't if the rock is clean or it's bagged sand.
Fwiw there's no recycle. An ammonia spike may be what some referer to as a mini cycle but thats easily avoided.

If you want to use dry rock to add, just cure or cycle it in a bucket.
For live rock the same but it's live and your just waiting for any posssinle die off to stop.

Thank you. It's been a rough road up to moving this thing and finally getting it back on track. I can finally say I got rid of all my annoying hair alge I had before. Knock on wood. Here's a more up to date picture as of last night added a shrimp and two corals.
