Yeah, figures. I tried to buy one last week at 15% but they were out of stock, so I bought the new ATO 3 version, I would have preferred this tried and true model.

Sorry we were out last week, we bought some extra ones to help out Tunze to close out that model. 3155 is well proven for sure. The new 3154 looks pretty nice, lot of people like that new High Jet pump.

If you have not used your 3154 yet though and want to return we can always take back and get you a 3155.

Absolutely love the 3155.
Only drawback is the pump, as everyone says, and it being LOUD.

The only other ATO i would think about is probably the Apex ATK, because it has the float vavle saftey on top.

Will Tunze stop supporting the 3155 now that the 3154 is out? I am new to the hobby and on somewhat of a budget so this is appealing. My fear is that if anything goes wrong, they will say sorry this product is discontinued and we won't help you.

It is a discontinued item now but they should have parts for them for many years. It's been in production for so long that I doubt would have many issues fixing it later if you had a problem and the top off pump can be switched out to the new high jet pump if you wanted, but the original pump is still available as well.
