Hey all.

My sump is way too small on my Red Sea 300 G2

I have a reefmat 500 in there.

I don’t need the room inside the stand for anything else other then the sump since I have all my controllers and wiring etc in a controller board, so I’m ok with going with a sump that takes the whole space inside the stand.

It starts with my reefmat and then into my Refugium which is in the same compartment as the reefmat, then travels into the skimmer section which barely has any room for a decent skimmer and then into my return pump section.

I have my uv pump in my refugium area, because it won’t fit into the area of the skimmer section. The skimmer section is so small I can barely fit my apex probes. I really need to upgrade this sump.

I would love something big enough where I can make a small section as a frag tank.

Has anyone upgraded their sump or has looked into it?

I’d like opinions on what you all would recommend for the absolute biggest sump I can go that will fit inside the stand.

I looked into having a sump outside the stand but that would be absolute last resort, since I want a clean look without any filtration outside the tank.
