Some move in pics... huge thank you to Kevin and his crew from The Reef here in Indy for getting this bad boy into place! They broke a wheel off their cart, but didn't break my tank ;)

Getting close to getting this baby wet! Got my bean animal setup done yesterday and hung three of the lights today. Just waiting on a few plumbing bits to arrive then it’s time to start moving the rock and sand over from the stock tank. Running with fish next weekend!

Rock and sand placed in the tank last night! Small leak in one of my drains so don’t have the sump running yet. I think I got it fixed late last night so hopefully fully functional this evening. Fallow period ends Friday so fish can go in from QT tank this weekend. Bonus picture of huge bristle worm!!

Looks good! Are you going to have access from the front? I have done in-wall before and did not have front access... it made things quite a bit harder even on a 120. Something to think about!

I can access three sides from the back. Have to shut down the pumps to see what I’m doing but it’s not too bad so far.

Quick video update after about a month and a half. Corals are all happy and sticks are showing growth after being added just about a week ago. Coralline starting to grow as well and the little bit of brown algae is starting to recede. Have a powder blue, sohal, file fish (aptasia) and a male bimaculatus anthias coming out of quarantine in a couple weeks.

Quick video update after about 11 months since setup. Starting to get really dialed in and focused on adding corals now. Kenya tree came in on the live rock and is getting out of control. Starting to tear out bits at a time with some forceps to make room for other corals. Too bad as it’s a beautiful coral, just can’t stand the pieces breaking off and growing all over the place! Setup the calcium reactor several months ago and currently only dosing DIY nopox. Right side still has a couple reefbrite hybrids and left side has a couple Neptune Sky’s.
