Bought this tank used from a fellow reefer. Hoping to make it primarily wrasse. My wife loves blue star leopards and I love potters wrasse.

Few pictures to get it started!

I added a few goodies that will be going in here. I'm taking down my 125 and frag tank. In Waukesha our water bill is projected to go up x4 in the next two years. Love the hobby but I have a little guy and can't spend so much money on a hobby!!

Hope so! I'm going to have a few sps but plan on mainly softies; hammers, torches and shrooms. I have a few anemones (rock and bta) id like I'm here too. I have three different macro algaes I will have in display tank as well.

If I can recommend anything get a cube sump!! I used a 20g tall and don't currently have a fuge. I need to figure out how I can add that for pod habitat.

All red- ochtodes, dragons breath, gracilaria, had some botryocladia but i killed it by giving it to much light.

A friend has some blue stuff that I might put in too. I may also do a chaeto reactor under stand. I haven't decided yet.

Your screen top, diy? I need one!

It sure is! I ended up buying two kits, I couldn't figure out how to get screen around overflow. Ended up making 3 screens and using hinges on the two sides of the overflow. I bought the screen from BRS. With the saw I think it cost me $55-60? Cheaper if you only need to buy one screen kit and if you have a saw to cut frame! Bought that at menards or home depot (pretty sure you can get from BRS too).

Was easy to make. If you end up making one get some help putting screen in. Also don't pull it to tight or the frame will flex weird and it won't lay flat, you'll see what I mean when you make it.

Changed scape a little. Got rid of Tonga and went with some pukani. Had a shelf for it but cluttered the tank to much. This is perfect!!

Is there any way to post video from phone? Visited a friend who had baby bangai cardinals in their system!!

Didn't do anything to raise them just happened to survive in their system. So tiny but amazing!!

Here you go! First video ever uploaded to YouTube. Took for my son but to cool not to share. Apparently mom and dad keep popping out babies!! Dad had a mouth full of eggs while I was there.

Argggg!

Because of polyclad flatworms and aptasia in my old tank, everything goes through a Bayer and prazi dip before going into quarantine. After a 30 day quarantine and a second prazi treatment I've moved my first frags into DT!

Unfortunately I noticed I had ich in my DT while I was trying to catch fish out of my 125g for someone to pick up tomorrow!! Text them and now they will wait until I can complete TT with them.

I can tell you I'm not a fan of the Radion lps program. Waaaaay to blue. I'll end up doing something custom this weekend but for now here are a few pictures.

Nice diy reactor. You can cut down a large disposable Tupperware container and have it sit in there to somewhat protect your stand.
I have a large 4" black abs sleeve with fan modded in around mine to keep the light from hitting the sump. Lights are also mounted to the sleeve and not the reactor itself for easy cleaning of reactor.
Crappy pics

Ah man that's a good idea. I was looking for a tall skinny plastic bin to put reactor in, then I could put a drain to sump if anything leaked. Now that tank is upstairs I'll probably need to get a leak detector of some sort, wife would not appreciate wet floors lol.

Also, how do you like it so far?

Looking good, got anything to stir that sand up? I had 2 huge conchs in my 125 and they would keep that sand bed stirred and eat up any diatoms/tritous.
Love the dimensions of your tank as well

2 blue star leopard wrasse. Planning on doing snails only and haven't put any in yet. Thought about fighting conch but don't think tank is big enough. Was going to start with a few narassirius snails.

Few more pictures. Baby bounces in quarantine!

Added a few snails and corals! Need to do a big water change this weekend as nitrates are above 40. Trying to decide if I want to run a skimmer or rely on natural filtration. I want to stock heavy do not sure natural filtration is an option.
