32 biocube overflow

Pondering on adding a sump to my 32 biocube. Don’t wanna cut holes and am looking at maybe an overflow box in the middle chamber . Question is my water line in a bit low there and wonder is anyone else has done this . Will a box like the eshopps 300 go deep enough on the inside? Wanting to add for cheato more volume etc . Lil better skimmer maybe . Anyone have one that they have done without cutting or drilling?

@kevgib67 do you know if this can be done on a Biocube?

I can understand wanting Cheato and more volume, but I don't think the juice is worth the squeeze here. Why do you feel like you need the Cheato and more volume? If you're having issues with your tank, there may be easier ways to deal with that rather than go to this much trouble.

I agree with above I don't think it would be worth it.

But.... you want a sump but you don't want to drill it, it means you will need a hob overflow. If you have a hob overflow to have a sump to have a refugium, why not just have a hob refugium?

Looking at cheato n such for pods . Want a mandarin when tank matures more . Just a thought in my head . Haven’t pulled the trigger yet. Just some thoughts . Thanks for yalls input. Looked at the eshops hob overflow . Not enough room on back for a refugium .
