Here are a few recent shots of the tank, everything seems relatively happy, including a bunch of tiny frags of sps that I threw in there

What settings did you run the xr15s on? I’m about to get a 64 gallon (basically two of these side by side) and was going to move my two xr15s over but was concerned about sufficient light.

Hi,
I am running the AB+ at 80% intensity. It is 250-300 par where the SPS are.

Not yet ran into some household problems that have to be done first
Bummer, hopefully you can settle your house issues and get it set up soon.

Thanks Rev, its getting there. I am happy that I cut the little nub off my homewrecker for this tank. Every single frag in my connected frag tank is doing great except my little homewrecker colony that decided to STN overnight. Hopefully the nub in the cube gets big enough to frag again.

How's your xr15 working in that direction? I mounted on the left as well but I out my light buttons to the front. Larger spread of the light since the tank is wider than deep.

Hi, the light seems to be working just fine for me this way, I agree that it would probably be better mounted like you have yours though. I did it the way I did since it makes hiding/routing the power cable easier, since it is not coming out of the exposed end like it would if was mounted the other way (I have OCD issues lol). However, I have to take the light off soon to clean out the fan and maybe I'll try mounting it the other way and see how I like it.

I ended up moving mine to the right side for that same reason with cable management. One issue I had is using the clamp without the block made it very shaky and unstable. I even chipped the top of my glass trying to hand tighten it.

I'm currently using the block made for rimmed tanks because it's alot more sturdy and the only way I can keep the light level.

Hmm, that is strange. I do not have any issues at all with wobbling, I am not using the block.

Here is a quick update on the cube. Everything seems happy. I am slowly removing the sand, I am over trying to keep it clean.

Lots going on with the garage system, behind the wall where the cube is plumbed into. This caused a bit of cyano or whatever is in the rocks. The torch has been stinging the confetti a bit too, I need to frag it back.
