So I have a rough idea of my stocking plan in my 32g biocube. Added in this order. Again, roughly.

1-royal gramma
1-tailspot blenny
free spot
2- clowns(bonded, in my main tank now)

The clowns and probably the tailspot are the ones im more set on, but just curious if anyone had any suggestions for uncommon/particularly interesting, reef safe fish.

What type of fish is a Free Spot?
Idk, I've never owned a fire fish. So I thought about that. But then I also thought about a orchid dottyback maybe? Torn. I'd like to actually stick with my stocking list thos time haha. I have enough fish in my 120g that im happy with, but I wont buy again lol. Namely cardinal fish and green chromis haha

I’d avoid the firefish if you’re doing a tailspot. I have a 32 biocube as well and am picking up a small tank to seperate my purple firefish into because the blenny isn’t allowing it outside the burrow. This is after living together for ~8 months without issue

Shrimp and Goby pair although you’ll find several instances of people not liking the Pistol Shrimp moving stuff around.

I don’t know how good this will do with a Royal Gramma and Clowns but an Assessor (technically not a Basslet but a Roundhead most closely related to the Marine Betta) is something you don’t see all the time. You can get them captive bred, at least the yellow ones.

A Pink Streak Wrasse or Possum Wrasse could be a choice. @i cant think

I wasn’t familiar with a Biocube tank so I had to google it. I would suggest a sand sifting goby such as a twin spot. For years a rumor has been flying around R2R that @tbrown had one but he refuses to confirm it publicly. Definitely a wrasse. I’d avoid the dottyback and go with the royal gramma. Add a yellow tail damsel last for a pop of blue. I heard there is a guy in north east Ohio that keeps 7 fish in his Biocube 32g but like the legend of the twinspot goby it hasn’t been confirmed to the best of my limited knowledge.

I put my first fish in today Kevin, royal gramma. Figure he'd be the most shy no matter what I add, so add him first! LFS added a tailspot to its next order for me as well!

After a few days when the royal gramma is out and about we need pictures. You’ll love the tailspot if you haven’t had one before. Little fish with a huge personality!

I'm excited. I cant really do blennies in the 120g. The way my overflow is setup, I have to pull them out everyday and they never get comfortable/settle in. I'm trying a Starry blenny right now, but if this one fails again I wont try another till I address the overflow
