330 Tank thread.

So this a quick start to my tank page.
Its a 330 with a 90 sump.
I kind of neglected a bit last few years but got re invigorated this year and have made allot of changes.
Biggest being and most noticeable is hooking up a DOS to my apex. Man what a difference.
This should be cool as I sold off gave away all the large pieces of coral and have a ton of new frags. So will be cool to document there growth.

Current gear.

6 Jebao wavemakers OW and SOW style
2 Jebao cross flow---- (Removed these guys as they would bind up every couple months)

3 Viparspectra lights with home made diffusers
2 Reefbreeders V2 Added 10/07/24 Replaced two Viparspectra lights.
No skimmer as of about 08/01/24 Turned that are into a frag farm.
return is a Jebao DCT 6000
Stand and top DIY (obviously) :) but stand did hold up to 7.0 we had a few years back :)
Cheap grow light from amazon for caulerpa/cheato
Apex old version and the new running 2 power bars. Haven't been brave enough to transfer everything over to the new one yet.

Yes the black boxes put out a ton of power. I like them. I have had good luck with them. But they are supplemented but the radions also... oh and forgot , I have T-5 s in the back lol need to update the gear part :)

This is my next big hurdle...any pointers on transferring everything from old apex to be under my new one? ??

This is my claim to fame for Halloween, Little late to post :)

SO hey just got back after 2 weeks in hawaii and didnt lose to much stuff but no PE extension :( Got to run some test sand see whats up. ALK was low at 7.2

Nothing was to out of whack other than the ALk being little low Cal 420 Nit 6.0 Mag 1200 I was getting some pretty good PH spikes up to 8.59 so maybe that was it.
Im shutting down dosing ALK during the day and it has stopped the spikes and actually reduced the PH swing greatly. Was going from 8.2-8.5 now its 8.4-8.5
Not sure about the long terms of shutting down the ALK during the day. I was not overly concerned about the PH swings just didnt like the HIGH ph spikes.
