I'm thinking of getting a new 36" tank. Several different tanks are being considered but would like to focus on just these two for now.

Waterbox Marine X 90.3
35.4h x x19.7w x 21.7h, approximately 59.3 gals
12mm glass

Nyos OPUS G2 300
35.4"L x 21.7"W x 20.9"H, approximately 69 gals
10mm glass

For tanks of this size, does 10mm vs 12mm matter?

Is thicker always better?
