Nyos Opus G2 300 Pro Equipment

Hi,

Starting my first mixed reef tank, and the chosen tank will be:
Nyos Opus G2 300 Pro
Dimensions:
90 x 55 x 53 cm
35.4 x 21.7 x 20.9 in
About 300l, or 79gallons

I'm asking for your expertise and help, to see if the equipment I choose is adequate for the size of the tank, because this is will be my first reef tank.

Powerhead: 2x Jebao DMP-M20 (to put in the back wall)
Will be enough? DMP 30 or 40 would be overkill? No powerheads in the sides is ok?

Return Pump: Syncra Silent 3.0
2700l/h
713gph
The recommended flow return pump by Nyos is 2.000 l/h (525 gph).
The 2.0 or 2.5 would be more adequate?

Light: 2x Noopsyche NP K7 Pro V3
One doesn't have enough spread to cover the length of the thank right?

Heater: 2x Aquael Ultra Heater 100W
2x 100W enough?

ATO: Tunze Osmolator 3 Nano
For my understanding, I don't need a powerful pump, the ATO reservoir will be side by side with the sump.

Skimmer: Reef Octopus 110-S

I would change the Skimmer for something bigger like Nyos 120 or 160 or Octopus Classic 150 or 152
Also get a bigger pump then the Syncra something more closer to 900-1100
Hold on the heaters until the tank is running and know how the temperature is working

I was undecided, between the Reef Octopus 110-S and the Nyos 120. The difference in price made me decide on the Reef Octopus 110-S side, but I will try to find a better price for the Nyos 120 then.

About the return pump, it was a surprise for me, your answer. I tough 10x turnover would be more than enough. I will look into it.

Can someone help me about the powerheads and lights?

You do not want or need a large return pump with the NYOS overflow. It has a 550gph limit.

I run a Hygger DC2500 on my NYOS440 and it’s been fantastic. Dead silent and cheap. Found on Amazon.

200w for heaters should be enough. This is one area I personally never skimp as heaters are the number one cause of tank crashes. Aqua Logic controller with BRS titanium heaters is what I use.

I’d personally skip Noopsyche as they have a horrible reputation for slow shipping and service. While more expensive, the Gen 2 Nicrew lights are killer for their price

It should work but I’ve never found the Sicce Silent series to be “silent”. I love their SDC series but all the Silents I tried were noisy especially if any back pressure is put on them

Pumps could be regulated, most of the small pumps like the one your choosing loose pressure at curtain feet of pipe were you have T or 90 so choosing a bigger pump will help to reach and have a great return and be regulated in case you have to much.
Same goes if you need to add a chiller or a reactor you could use the same pump if it bigger if its smaller you cant

They are made in Europe so import fees should be minimal.

i have the 3.0 and it does fine at 80%.
