Hey everyone!

I'm Patryk from Poland, and I'm excited to join the Reef2Reef community and share my new reef tank journey with you!

I've just ordered a NYOS OPUS G2 440 Slim, and I can't wait for it to arrive!

My current tank is around 55" x 18" x 22", but I've always felt it lacked depth. This time, I wanted a complete, ready-made system that not only performs well but also looks amazing. And when it comes to build quality, I think NYOS is absolutely top-tier!

Here's the main equipment I'm currently running, which I'll be transferring to the new setup:
  • Lighting: Skylight PARMASTER RL
  • Protein Skimmer: Maxspect 400
  • Roller Filter: Red Sea ReefMat 500
My current tank is mostly filled with soft corals, but with this upgrade, I finally want to build a proper mixed reef focused on LPS and SPS. The goal is to create a stunning reef with a well-planned aquascape, plenty of depth, beautiful coral colors, and a clean, modern look.

I'm really excited to start this new chapter, use everything I've learned from my current setup, and hopefully create something special!

I'm also attaching a photo of my current tank so you can see what I'm upgrading from! 📸

If you also have a NYOS tank, please share some photos of your setups! I'd love to see your tanks, get some aquascaping inspiration, and hear about your experiences with the OPUS series.

Looking forward to seeing your reefs!

Happy reefing! 🪸🐠
