Hey guys, quick question! I plan on turning a 36gal bow front tank into a reef tank. What filtration do you recommend?

That is a huge question, someone would be here typing for hours to try to explain all the different options available. It can be as simple as the Berlin filtration method, which uses rocks and powerheads only and nothing else, to extreme filtration set ups that include mechanical, chemical, and biological filtration. I would suggest to do some preliminary research and it might be easier to ask more specific questions. This is a good beginner article, although the article does assume the reader will have a sump which is not necessary. Good luck

Im also putting one together, using rock, sand, and a seachem tidal stuffed with biomedia. Month or two will add a hob skimmer. Can get away with less, and can go for more. Really depends on the planned bio load i imagine. Good luck, will follow!
