Hello reefers!! I designed a magnetic corner frag rack. The design is free on makerworld. Check out my design and give it a download! For tanks with glass thickness less than 1/2 inch or 12.5mm.
Magnets are sealed in the blocks while printing. Thanks for checking it out!!

Corner racks are very useful.
I would buy one if they were available for 1/2" glass.

Believe me, I’m working on it. My big tank is 1/2 glass. The magnets are almost strong enough. Sourcing magnets that are bigger and stronger is proving difficult while keeping the cost down.
The cost of neodymium magnets have gone through the roof lately.

There in lies the problem. The magnets I used in the design are 60x10x3mm. I think a magnet that is 60x20x6 would probably hold on 1/2 inch glass. Thus, why In the design I tried to double the original magnets for the outside holder. I may redesign and see if doubling the internal magnets would help. The other problem is that the number of wall loops, in the design, to make watertight also decreases the effectiveness of the magnets.
 
I made frag racks back in the day and used 1" x 3/8" thick neodymium magnets on the inside ( incased in casting resin ) and used the 1" x 1/4" black epoxy coated magnets for the outside. Both round magnets.
These would hold very well through 1/2" glass.
 
I may have to do some playing with combinations and see what I can come up with to better this design and keep the costs down for hobbyists.
 
These look great but I would be extremely hesitant to use magnets that are encased only in a 3d print. It's fairly safe to assume you'll get some leeching of chemicals into the aquarium. A 3d print is like a woven basket and while it is melted layer to layer, they are not completely water tight joins.

You are not wrong in your assessment. In my mind a frag rack is not permanent fixture in the tank. So i tried to mitigated issues. By increasing the number of wall loops from 2 to 4 i am doubling the amount of material in the matrix of the build on the internal magnet case. Also using epoxy coated magnets should help mitigate issues as well.

Yeah, epoxy coated magnets would make this perfect.
 
According to K&J (and personal experience) epoxy coated magnets can be susceptible to scratches and expose the magnet itself. Plastic dipped ones are the best but quite expensive.

Also if you’d like the print to have no print lines at all, try PVB and vapor smoothing with IPA.
