3D Printed Products: Good Stuff, or Cheap Stuff?

What are your thoughts on 3d printed products for reef tanks? Are they as good as traditionally made ones (ie, acrylic, injection molded) or are they just a cheaply made alternative? Maybe both good and bad?

As long as its PETG I have no problem putting it in my tank. Prototype with PLA and test fit, once you know its good use the stuff that will last.

I'm sure there is both good and bad out there. I will admit that in my laziness I've ordered some stuff from Printed Reef which has been good quality. Also have some baskets from algae barn that I have media in.

In my very limited experience the printed stuff I have purchased works but it looks printed if that makes sense. It all works and thats all I expect since the stuff is very affordable. It just looks a little rough. The only thing I have that I know is printed and doesn't look printed to me is my tunze orcas but they are white and white always hides blemishes better than black. I've not seen a black one.
